Can someone please teach me how to read music on the saxophone? I'm frustrated here.

Im afraid reading music on the saxophone is destined to fail. Due to its awkward shape and polished surface the pages will just slide off.

Okay, here's the deal. Learning any instrument requires that you learn the notes and how to produce those notes on the particular musical instrument you're learning.

Here is an intro-to-the-intro for the sax. Once you know how to sound each note, the rest should come more easily.

Musical notes are the same for any instrument I believe, you just have to learn where the keys are for each instrument 🙃

Do you already know the names of the notes and how to play the scales on the sax?

Maybe because the music isn't actually ON the saxophone?
