You and my brother and his wife. One week when I was short on groceries, he bought me two and he said he liked these. It didn't sit right with me, though.

Find a dollar tree. You'll find lots of food there for $1
You're right. My youngest brother and his wife and son are good and frequent customers at a Dollar Tree in the next block and Family General down the street.
Probably a single piece of fruit. In this week's Peapod ad, they are advertising NAVEL oranges for .69. I will buy four once I get paid. Bread is never less than 2.OO and something nowadays.
All good choices. Things I like, too. But - where is anybody buying bread that is a $1.00 or less? The cheapest I saw any was one sale for $1.88.

@MaryJanine it depends we’re you live. We have an Asda near we’re I live and most bread costs £1 or less. The cheapest was 5p as it was out of date and on clearance saie. The most I’ve ever paid for bread is nearly £2
Good deal. But even at Food 4 Less (my brother's favorite store) the bread was on sale and that's where I got the $1.88 price. I live I the big city and I guess they figure almost EVERYBODY likes SOME kind of bread.
