You don’t know what your missing, especially the mud
jackieomg · 36-40, F
Sounds great!!! Does look relaxing
Scottdes · 56-60, M
it is. A friend of mine lives in the country, and has a pond on her property. We’ve been using the pond every summer.
Kel, push somebody else in first ... and see how it works out
CallmeHopelessNotRomantic · 46-50, F
@questionWeaver I'm so not going near any water with you 😂
Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F
@questionWeaver your always thinking :)
Crickets · 46-50, F
I don't swim in water, I can't see my toes in.
PoetryNEmotion · F
Yes. The frogs wouldn't mind. Why wouldn't you, Sunny? I want to know...
Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F
@PoetryNEmotion Im a scardy cat...something might touch my leg
Yes.... I used to swim in a natural clean pond with lots of fish in it... but I can understand why you can't..
Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F
@Soossie I freak myself out
@Sunnykel76 lol... 🤗🤗❤️

Spumoni · 46-50, M
Yep! I'd run as fast as I could that dock, then go airborne with my arms up in the air, splashing down amongst the cold abyss of mother nature's wetness. Lol
Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F
@Spumoni you made that sound fun...but...tadpoles and snakes.eeeek

SW-User
Wouldn’t do it.
DragonFruit · 61-69, M
Yes, and I have.
Virgo79 · 61-69, M
Why? A good pond makes a good swim☺
Virgo79 · 61-69, M
@Sunnykel76 I'd go first☺
Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F
@Virgo79 such a gentleman
Virgo79 · 61-69, M
Hands you a🐠😉
indyjoe · 56-60, M
This doesn't look like your average run of the mill pond. It appears to be man-made for recreational use, not like the ones you'd see on a farm for the farm animals. There is a person not far from where I live who made one on his property. It is fed on one end by a stream and drains out the other end back into that stream so that it doesn't stagnate. This one looks very similar to his. I'd love to have something like this...it looks inviting...I'd swim in it.
JustEd · 41-45, M
Absolutely. But then again. I don’t have one of those concrete ponds.
Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F
@JustEd I want a concrete pond just like the Clampets
JustEd · 41-45, M
@Sunnykel76 Yes ma’am. Just find you some of that black gold, Texas tea.
AllAboutLaffs · 80-89, M
There are turtles in there !! ... 😳
AllAboutLaffs · 80-89, M
@Sunnykel76 The pic was slow to load ... very pretty pond ....
Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F
@AllAboutLaffs Thanks. Its at my families cabin in the mountain.
AllAboutLaffs · 80-89, M
@Sunnykel76 You're very lucky ... well, except for the turtles ... 😁
Subsumedpat · 36-40, M
Depends on the pond, I don't like water that does not move unless it is a swimming pool.
Yes Kel.. I will go with you...
@Sunnykel76 of course.. but you HAVE to jump in too..
Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F
@KingLionHeart we will see
@Sunnykel76 hahahahaha..
juiceyangel333 · 31-35, F
No thanks. Don't want a frog jumping up my coochie
fazer1k · 56-60, M
@juiceyangel333 How about a water snake?
juiceyangel333 · 31-35, F
@fazer1k noooo
Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F
@juiceyangel333 God forbid!! lol
Tminus6453 · M
No, stagnant murky water always scares me.. plus i dont swim very well..😟
Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F
@Tminus6453 I can swim..its the lurking things

SW-User
i don't like still water. too many ickies.
Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F
@SW-User exactly...and things you cant see.

SW-User
@Sunnykel76 microscopic brain eaters, and such.
swl2jo · 56-60, M
Drops shorts, starts running for the dock, jumps in with a huge splash.
Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F
@swl2jo you are very eager I see
swl2jo · 56-60, M
@Sunnykel76 hope the water is warm. Don’t need shrinkage.
exexec · 70-79, C
Yes, but I would check for snakes and 'gators first.
Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F
@exexec no gators here in the north...at least I don't think 😟
exexec · 70-79, C
Nice looking pond. I would definitely jump in on a hot day.
fazer1k · 56-60, M
I used to swim in lots of places as a kid. Would I do it now? Probably not.
Bobdale · 56-60, M
Depends where the pond is !probly not
JarJarBoom · 41-45, F
in a pond? no....a lake..would be better
Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F
@JarJarBoom I agree, Im fine with my swimming pool

SW-User
Sure. I've swam in all sorts of bodies of water.
JavaJoe · 51-55, M
Depending on the pond, yes
FaeLuna · 31-35, F
If there was a hose nearby to rinse off all the gross pond stuff, sure. Otherwise, it just seems kinda nasty. A lake would be much better.
indyjoe · 56-60, M
Apond like the one you show in your post wouldn't be too bad. It looks clean enough. I also like rivers and lakes too. I like pools also, but as for oceans I think the beach is beautiful...I just don't like the salt water so I don't swim when visiting.
mindstruggle · F
Nuuh. It’s scary.
Scottdes · 56-60, M
Yes, I would
Ctreve511 · 56-60, M
Not here in FL!
i did numerous times when i was a teen
HerKing · 61-69, M
It depends how hot it is...Be very careful and don't dive in..It can stop your heart if the water is much cooler/deep.
CallmeHopelessNotRomantic · 46-50, F
No way.... Catfish, alligators mud Ewww no!
Scottdes · 56-60, M
My friend and I wound up in a pond that was really muddy. She sank halfway
CallmeHopelessNotRomantic · 46-50, F
@Scottdes I don't like lakes or rivers either. The ocean doesn't bother me though.
No I prefer large bodies of water or pools. Something about small stagnate bodies of water puts me off..like what's in there???
JustNik · 51-55, F
I can barely do a lake anymore. LOL
CallmeHopelessNotRomantic · 46-50, F
@JustNik you know I'm from the south... But I can only remember a few times I've been in a lake.
JustNik · 51-55, F
@CallmeHopelessNotRomantic I grew up around them so we hit the lake more than the pool, but I have a hard time going in past my knees anymore. I do not want to swim with the fish poo. 🤢😂
CallmeHopelessNotRomantic · 46-50, F
@JustNik that's the ironic thing. Where I live, there are so many ladies and rivers. I never got near one until I was 18
PeterJ · 56-60, M
I'd be in there right now. Beautiful pic.
Cantsayno · 56-60, M
That’s how I learnt how to swim. A small pond.
The water has to be clear, for me to dare a dive.
BlueRain · 51-55, F
The ocean yes but not a pond.
LyricsKeepMeBreathing · 31-35, M
Lakes yeah, but ponds no thanks.
smileylovesgaming · 31-35, F
Yes I did a lot when I was younger
jackson55 · M
Why not? You think the creacher from the black lagoon is in there?

As a kid we always swam in ponds and lakes, never gave it much thought. As an adult I think too much...ick 😬

Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F
@MethDozer maybe I will reconsider.
MethDozer · M
@Sunnykel76 It is so hot right now I will swim just about anywhere.
