They never have to take maternity leave
Classy · 22-25, FVIP
@NickInSurrey how tf did you get all that from what I said. Stop making what I said into a bigger deal than what it is, stop reading so damn far into what I say that it isn’t even relevant anymore.

@Wildflowerr For clarity, I don’t believe that woman should be penalised for taking maternity leave - how the heck else are we going to survive as a species if we leave it to the least capable and productive to do all the breeding?

lemme' see your resume, @Wildflowerr.

if an employer notices a bunch of spelling errors in the applicant's resume … he might feel a bit prejudicial toward that person. lackadaisical spelling could be construed as being unsystematic attitude within one's work-place.

i'm not saying you have bad attitude, @Wildflowerr … however, if you have no typos in your resume … you also should have no typos here in your sw-post. and, if you render an excuse for misspelled words … you are more likely to manifest excuses in the work environment.

'legitimate' reasons … i have none. neither do i see irrefutable proof that men are being 'paid' more than women. least not in my company.

well … that's all from me.

It's hard to say, but maybe if it were a piece-work job, then if a man did more pieces, he would be paid more. Outside of that type of job, where production is how you are paid, men should not be paid more than women for the same job.

A guy has a degree and has been working at a company 15 year vs a lower degree and less experience or a female who has a work performance that isnt as good.
twistermind · 51-55, F
This post stinks male supremacy.
I don’t know what’s the intention after being proven lately that women workers are still considered a lebel below a man. Luckily, in the Public sector doesn’t happen so much as the private.
What do you want to hear? Than men genetically tend to have a higher physical strength than women. This is a fact that can’t be denied. Beyond this fact, I don’t understand what’s the point to compare women and men as two separete cathegories.

More experience, higher degree, better annual evaluations.

Wage negotiations during the interview process?

Women don’t want to do half the shit men do. I suppose working at a fast food restaurant there would be equal opportunities. But that’s it. I don’t think men even want to see a woman as president . And to be honest I don’t either. A women in power is shown as weakness

@Wildflowerr ha you said it yourself . “Feminine positions” you wanna step into a so-called “Feminine position” your gonna get paid less.
Believe it or not sometimes men just do certain jobs better than women.
twistermind · 51-55, F
@CallmeHopelessNotRomantic And viceversa. So? Should be paid a woman more in these cases?
@twistermind Of course
twistermind · 51-55, F
@CallmeHopelessNotRomantic In that case, it would be a matter of considering each case as a single one and not a gender matter. My guy is stronger than many of his male coworkers and have more strength for a hard psysical work. So, all those male coworkers should be paid less. However they work as a team.

More skilled men in posistions as a result of sexiest practices in the past. It will continue to even out over time.

The suffragette women sacrificed themselves but totally forgot of the human desire of "More, more, more."
TechniCoIorBroccoli · 46-50, F
Coz most think with their dick and that is a high level skill
twistermind · 51-55, F
The answer is obvious. None.
