🤔 First of all, I wouldn't tolerate something like that. Second, I wouldn't provok someone to that point.
Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F
@imacloset there was no provocation, simply he had too much alcohol
imacloset · F
@Sunnykel76 He can't handle his alcohol. He needs A A meetings

Call the cops if he does that let them haul him away.
Why should anyone expect you to put up with that?

His ass is gone.

Oh my goodness.... that person would no longer be close to me...
MellyMel22 · F
Maybe with a frying pan to their head..
Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F
@MellyMel22 That would do the trick
Move in with me till he leaves.

Or ... option #2 - contact his family and get them to remove his butt till he chills ... then some counseling would make sense.

Or ... option #3 - let your son and dad handle it!
Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F
@questionWeaver Yes I agree with all 3. Sadly son was at college and my father out of town. So much for trying to be nice and help people out. I'm still waiting for the repercussions
Oh no ... timing is everything ... have someone with you at all times ... some drinkers verge from civility .. some are remorseful.

You are nice ... that is why you are a prize
if it were my house, and they were a guest, they would be finding themselves on the other side of the door.
Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F
Nothing... I mean nothing ever, is a good excuse for that....

That's your home and you certainly don't need a drunk intruder in there ...
DreamingOfSummer · 26-30, F
oh you added the part about drinking. In that case, I'd hand him a brochure on AA as I file the restraining order against him.
Degbeme · 70-79, M
After my Louisville Slugger said hello. They`d be out the door!

My wife and I don't have a lot of expensive things, but a lot of what we do have has great sentimental value. We aren't necessarily materialistic but we are quite proud of our things we have collected during our lives individually and our life together. There would be no excuse for such behavior, and we would not tolerate it in the least regardless if it was a good friend of ours or a family member. The level of closeness we felt toward them would take a very sharp drop on the scale. Like I said...our stuff is not of great monetary value, but a lot of it is rare, old, and/or irreplaceable. Any person who would do that would not ever be welcomed into our home again.
DreamingOfSummer · 26-30, F
Why would you live with someone like that? I don't care how angry someone is. If they can't control themselves, your body is probably going to be the next thing that gets destroyed.
sighmeupforthat · 46-50, M
i don't let folks like that into my life.

i let time tell the tale long before i consider offering them a welcome.
Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F
@sighmeupforthat Good wisdom
Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F

Sounds threatening. Is there anything the police can do for the domestic disturbance?

He/she should be put on a short leash if they should temper like this. You might not be a victim but the next person could be.
They would be the next thing through the window
Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F
@NunIover yeah my thoughts but was scared.
Livingwell · 61-69, M
I’d get angry and throw their ass out - literally.
