Does the president of the United States have to be a Christian?

Doesn't have to be. I'd be surprised if a non religious president is elected in the next twenty years though.

@ViciDraco If that were the other choice, I'd stick with the Christians.
Maybe a heathen will run. Instead of the 10 commandments statues we could have the 9 noble virtues.

@Straylight I had to look those up, but I am an instant fan of the nine noble virtues. Much better than the ten commandments.

@ViciDraco I've been flying the Asatru banner for about a year now. More as a philosophy than a religion, but still.

@Straylight I'll have to look into it. Not a religious person, but with such a nice virtue system it is at least worth recognizing.

@ViciDraco I'm not very religious myself, but i think it's important to have values to measure your actions against and stay on track. And being of Germanic decent, those are the values of my ancestors.
