I'm not impressed

I read an old sports illustrated article about cheerleading. It outlined the damage they do to their bodies and pointed out that colleges "waste" scholarship money on cheerleading. An academically superior student misses out on scholarship funds because Sally over here can do a back flip. Granted, the same can be said of most college athletes. At least some of those other athletes have a chance of going pro, and those athletic programs generate revenue for the school. All that considered, I think cheerleading is nothing short of pointless.

Not really a thing here and i for one am very happy about that

Perhaps cheerleading made sense in the days before large electronic boards and speakers to get the crowd pumped up.

When you think about it abstractly, it really is a strange concept.

If they were nude there would be a point to it all

It depends. High school or college cheerleaders cheer because they support the school they go to and I support that.

Professional cheerleading seems more fake to me. There like models who get paid to stand on the sideline.

That’s just my opinion. I’m sure they support there team just a much but they just seem fake to me.

Everyone I’ve known enjoys doing it and enjoys the paycheque. Fat feminists can’t stand it

I think physically it takes a lot of effort & practice but it also has many injuries related. Some believe it helps encourage the team others think it distracts. I’m someplace in between

those cheerleaders are insane at times... i think a good percentage of them are mutants.. like the xmen.
