I don't think so. If you have a vivid imagination you can make up alsorts.
I had a flue. Virus and was seeing things out of the corner of my eye. My stepmom had the same virus. Anyway my now ex was annoying me so I told him I was seeing ghosts and the ghosts told me he was hiding stuff. I just knew he was hiding stuff. Anyway he admitted it. He still called me crazy and tries to put me down making me feel bad I saw ghosts and talked to them but it doesn't bother me because I just exaggerated the truth - like he did.
So alsorts of things can spark an idea if you have a vivid imagination.
