How can you get motivated and buckle down and get serious about hitting the gym?

Things are getting bad! I already have this pair of distressed jeans with rips in the knees but when I squatted down to get something the fabric got too tight I guess and ripped more.

What's next chair breaking? The last time I tried to get more into the gym I think I lasted 2 days in a row and haven't been back since. I keep telling myself alright I will go today but then I get too tired and stay home.

Maybe join some friends at the gym or people from work it's always better if you have people to motivate you

[@661846,Sincityxxx] I think I might try that. I did better when I had someone to go with me when I signed up for the gym a few years ago. It's not as fun when it's just me and my headphones.

[@290051,Neurotoxin] I think it works better that way...for me I have four friends from work we either call or text eachother early in the morning to go to the gym... eat lunch together sometimes we make healthy lunch and share it or sometimes we have a nice salad. It's way better to have friends motivate you

[@661846,Sincityxxx] For sure. Originally I was going with my brother and when he stopped going I lost interest.

Why are you wearing jeans to exercise? Just some sweat pants or shorts is fine.

You need to like getting fit. Don't treat it's like something you HAVE to get out of the way.

[@429002,xRedx] That's the hard part. I don't like getting sweaty and sore.Never really did.

[@290051,Neurotoxin] lol, well that's just part of it. For me it's staying healthy more than anything.

Although exercise is all good and healthy, you can be fat and in shape. If you want to lose weight, change your eating habits.
