Oh yeah! We made a few back in the day. We even made a steam gun by jamming one of those black rubber laboratory plugs in a pipe filled with water. We put the pipe in a fire. It was intense. My buddies and I had a green bean bomb incident on a camp out when we put a can of green beans in a hot fire. Yes! The can eventually exploded and it was very loud and 'dangerous' ! We were nuts! I remember we would literally try to hit each other with Roman candles on the fourth of July. It's a wonder none of us were severely burned.

@thinkbigaboutlife yea was called a spud gun I think not the entire potato like there was a round hole and if you passed it in you would have a tiny bit of potato in the end you could fire.
