A couple decided to commit suicide after going through a really hard time. So, they decided to jump off a cliff. When they got to the top, they both counted to 3. The woman jumped but the man stayed. He watched her fall for 8 seconds and then saw her pull out a parachute. Who betrayed who?

If he didn't notice her wearing the parachute beforehand, then he probably wasn't a very attentive husband. Had he seen it and complimented her on it, maybe she would have decided not to kill herself and they would have gone out for pancakes or something instead. I put the blame on him
