@MalteseFalconPunch yes....in some areas of the UK house prices are high....but they've been quite stagnant....or dropped in recent years....so many people here live in a house that is now worth less than they paid for it....so it makes it really hard to consider moving somewhere bigger!! Our house is worth about the same as we paid for it 10 yrs ago....and we've done about £30,000 worth of renovations.....
