Smile, be friendly and expect a million questions. They are interested in learning about you. It's not an interrogation. Unless they shine a light in your eyes, then, yeah, interrogation.

I’m always great with parents for some reason, and they usually tend to ask a lot about your life, getting to know who you are/what your plans are for the future, and if you’re good enough for their kid. Thankfully, I always look good on paper. Either way, I think if you haven’t been warned that they’re total assholes you’ll be fine because it’s hard to please people who don’t want to be pleased and there are a lot of parents like that out there, but kids are usually aware of how their parents are and try to prepare or warn you.

Smile and listen 👂 be polite and share your own family history, try and be yourself and good luck 😉

I made them a meal. I tried to be myself the whole time because obviously you want them to know you. Ask questions about your significant others growing up. Ask about the parents lives interests etc
