Should men continue to be taught to be tough?

If they're going to have to die bloody at some point to protect women and children, then yeah. Teaching boys not to cry and not to seek help is teaching them how to be self-sufficient and reinforcing the idea that they're not as important, in preparation for that day when they'll have to put their wife, gf, children or whatever before their own life.

If we want males to be that human shield, then that's a pretty important part.
