I try to think of myself as a nice guy, and I think I am for the most part, I do my best to be there for my friends and do what I can to make them feel better if need be. All of that... But there's a side of me that wants to hold that against them, that wants to take advantage of that relationship with those people I care about, that wants to get something out of it. I never listen to it, but it's always there in the back of my mind.

Everyone's agreeing but its nonsense and way too simplistic. You might as well say tall guys aren't nice guys. Complete nonsense, once you've experienced more of life you'll discover I'm right.
@eunlee I'm not sure what butthurt means but you made a post and I know from experience that you're wrong so I'm just saying so. Reducing it to meaningless and inaccurate catch phrases like "nice guys don't say they are nice guys" closes your mind and stops you growing. And you might miss out on getting to know some nice guys too with your simplistic prejudice.
@greenmountaingal ok sure in that context I'll agree I might possibly be suspicious of his motives too.

@greenmountaingal You don't know that.. I've seen plenty of people talk about how some guy told them how good they were going to treat them and turns out to be an ass... All words, no action...
Same with women... It's all sides of a spectrum.. Especially in online formats.. People pop up online.. Boo-hoo about something that happened.. And usually without second guessing or hearing both sides of the story people just start babying the person for the attention they're seeking even if they were a total nut job and that person is lucky to be as far away from them as possible...
I had to start thinking more clearly than just accepting peoples words online as gospel because I started doing that for awhile too.. Something about the drama that allures people... Now I just give a general amount of advice instead of assuming that everything is true.. But on the off chance it were to be true perhaps the advice given could help since you never know..
