Why do little people get offended at the word midget but are totally fine with the word dwarf?

No disrespect intended... But I think midget rolls off the tongue better

I didn't think they liked the word dwarf, I thought they mainly preferred little people.

[ @Allelse Little People is a relatively new term for a while there though the midgets went ballistic until they were called dwarves. Yes now it's little people but they do recognize themselves as being dwarves
