Do you think it's possible that an ancient race of alien or people could have existed before the humans that we know of

Given how infinitely vast and seemingly timeless the universe is, I would dare to say it's impossible that intelligent life hasn't ever existed before humans.

As Neil Degrasse Tyson says, humans are made up of the most *COMMON* elements in the universe. It's almost a certainty that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe.

I mean. Look at this shit. We are a dot of a dot of a dot of a dot of a dot of a dot a trillion times over. The vastness of the universe leaves no doubt in my mind.

And this is just the *known* universe. There are *billions* of galaxies. And possibly billions [or more] of other universes, too.

@Tatsumi a infinite endless universe just means infinite endless possibilities right?

@HeyITHAPPENS Just about. On an infinite timeline, anything and everything that could possibly happen will happen. Of course, the universe is not infinite. But, for the purpose of wondering whether or not other life exists, it may as well be. And, who knows. Including all the other universes, it might be infinite. So yeah.
