Do you think that pretty women need feminism?

I don't as they have the best out of life given to them already.while ugly women are still trying to be recognized as actual humans

Everyone deserves to be treated with respect regardless of what they look like.

I think that there's a misconception about the fact that pretty women have it the best. A lot of the times the prettiest girls are the most insecure, the ones who need the most approval of other people.

Being pretty isn't "the best out of life". Where feminism is needed is in places where women are still oppressed. Pretty and ugly women alike need it in places like Saudi Arabia or Pakistan. That's where feminism is needed, not so much in placeslike Canada or Britain or France.

@DemonOfNothing being pretty brings a heap of problems, because a lot of men take extreme, very threatening offence when a pretty girl just isnt interested. He will MAKE her interested, even if its only to be afraid

@damselfly Perhaps true, but the traditional idea of feminism being "rights for women" is certainly needed in other countries where women have zero rights.

@BlueMetalChick well here's what I think. Everybody needs feminism. If you have responsibilities then you need rights to go with them. It benefits all. It's humanitarian and fair. I also think that women self-sabotage, imagining that men approve of them for it. And some men, not the majority, do. These would be the rape apologists and guys at varying dark stages of misogyny

Not all feminist believe all women are equal, but then if you're a woman that has had a mercurial rise in her professional life something tells me you'll never admit that truth.

@SteelHands not everyone is equal regardless of sex, and quite a lot of women self-sabotage in the mistaken belief that they can cosy up to midogynists. In fact I've even heard that certain insecure men, terrified of losing their place in the world, and self sabotaging women, have decided between them to redefine feminism as some kind of anti-male movement. It isn't. It's anti-unfairness and anti-criminality, and while it mostly focuses on issues as they affect women, men benefit too - unless they are misogynistic criminals, of course

Feminism declared.

Your claims are fictitious.
This is one of those things that is unfair in our society! We do judge ppl on looks more than substance...how sad! I've modeled over 20 years and can tell u that there are many negatives as well for attractive women! One big one is that ppl think u must be stupid! This is a sore subject for me being educated. But, I'm still learning! Lol! Being a feminist is very individual and should never be generalized...
