i don't know.
.... people speak of degrees.. i have a doctorates but in useless shit.
i used it for that and was miserable but the salary was great (experience? what a crock!)
... i began in wine making, family thing. ... then got into restaurants, took community college with night classes, what some think is crap but affordable.
then did it again, this time with what was current, computers.
what IS IT that you have an interest in that can be utilized?
in the mean while.... if you can intern with something? do you know anyone anywhere who has or knows someone with a 'powerjob' or career? like with local government? there's shit loads of opportunities that no one talks about.
what are YOU good at?
think about it.
talk to someone who knows those who are like you but have a career and see if they don't need someone to 'hang around' for tasking?
then you can elaborate further as times goes along.
make sure you don't cut ties with family IF you got it.. staying at home with family IS NOT A BAD THING! (in many ways) you can return the favor later as in.. keeping the home if your family has one paid up or is paying for... caring for their elderly if they need help and you can get help.
what i'm saying is, what can you do to further the ability you have that you know or will discover and work with that?
places where you could work/ intern/ volunteer will or may offer certification programs to further those notches in your resume over time.
got any venues near by? like museums who need help? (many these days are trying to get into digitization... if you work with computer technologies you can help BIG FREAKING TIME! if you can scan 'documents' and take pictures w/archiving you are set!
that's just a few examples.
