My son has a friend who lives in a local children's home. He is such a lovely boy despite what he must have been through. He's very kind, polite and well mannered. I just made pizza, chicken nuggets and salad for tea and he seemed so happy that he got asked to stay for tea. It just made me smile that such a simple thing could make him so happy.

I started to take my glasses off for the beautician to wash the color out of my hair, then I laughed remembering I wasn't wearing glasses after my cataract surgery.

I’m moving heavy furniture around, and there was an instance where I was using my knee against the dresser too much to help push. I smiled and even laughed knowing I’ll have a bruise there tomorrow.
