Andy's attic...arrested in the USA on holiday!!! I had been warned that it was a crime to 'jaywalk' in your wonderful country but, I was astonished
to find that I was taken in to police custody for the simple act of crossing the road. You could have knocked me over with a feather. However, I do respect that laws differ from we people here in the UK.
As I was taken to the police station by the SWAT team I understood my misdemeanour but I was backafronted when the police person in charge said that I was not arrested for 'jaywalking' but was in fact arrested for being drunk and disorderly and not wearing any trousers. I nearly swooned, I explained to the officer that I was given advice by @hunkalove who informed me that this was acceptable behaviour.
Sadly, it looks like the 'MAN' have taken over the rules in the US just have they have done in the UK and no free person can walk around drunk with no trousers on....For shame USA and the UK!
