Its not the sun that is getting hotter, its earth atmosphere who get hotter because of all the gas pollution in the atmosphere,
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@pikminboy you understand you’re being trolled right ? The poster is talking about summer lol
That's it! I've had enough! I'm moving to Mars! Is there a Skegness on Mars, Professor?

@hunkalove Indeed there is Sir, I shall book you a room.
hunkalove · 70-79, M
@AndysAttic Thanks for BA, Professor! I shall treasure it always!

Au contraire as the Sun must have taken up a new part-time job on Fleet St. catering for insomniacs and vagabonds with time on their hands.
The Sun is also there to provide hope and imagination to those whose interplanetary exploits amount to partaking of large amount of chemical substances in a bong with the inevitable result of severe disappointment in the outcome.
I wish you well.

I still have difficulty understanding why people put their globes out in the sun to warm them, especially since this is apparently so obviously problematic 🤔🤔
You've already proven that the earth is flat so the relationship between these fake news globes and our flat earth seems non existent, yet it is brought up by so called real scientists.
Also, perhaps you could explain the connection between the sun, moon and milky-way? 🤔🤔

@TrunkZ Indeed Sir, man the pitchforks forthwith.
PhoenixPhail · M
@TrunkZ LOL Yes, ours is a very sweet galaxy.
TrunkZ · 56-60, M
@PhoenixPhail and a bit gooey in the middle 😏😏

On a more serious note. It's super odd that it isn't getting dark till like 9:30 pm here now. Which never happens. And the temperature has been fluctuating more than usual
@pride49 Longest day of the year is coming up June 20. Daylight will increase every day by approx 4 minutes until that date.
pride49 · 31-35, M
@JamesBugman True but 8:30 pm is the latest it's ever started getting dark

Only to correct, not to judge... The Sun is not a planet. It's a star. And, the largest known star in the Milky Way is UY Scuti, which is about 1,700 times larger than the Sun.
AndysAttic · 56-60, M
@PhoenixPhail Sir, please forgive my mistake...I am only grateful the rest of the post is 100% accurate.
PhoenixPhail · M
@AndysAttic No forgiveness needed. You're doing great. ✨
AndysAttic · 56-60, M
@PhoenixPhail As are you good Sir.

@jackieash Indeed Ma'am your scientific knowledge and book learning words are astounding, I believe the Sun's parents could well be 'boomers'.
I often wonder why did man land on the moon, the sun is prettier ☀🤔🤭🤭🤭😚😚
AndysAttic · 56-60, M
@AbsolutelyFabulous Indeed Ma'am, and as a creation scientist I can tell you it is closer that is why it looks much bigger. All they had to do was go at night when it had cooled down.
Those are some confused stats. Our sun is not the largest in the milky way, not even close. Neither is the moon.. oh, they look the largest from here, but on that scale they are infinitesimally puny.
As you may, or may not know, the sun just sits there and the Earth circles around it. The only way the sun could stay out longer would be if the rotation of the earth changed, and that is not going to happen in 200 generations. Probably 20000000 generations. lol

@JamesBugman This is great, the heady toing and froing of intellectual discourse.
@AndysAttic Yea, I only pointed it out because some people are easily confused in these public chats. We don't want another religion to spring up from some silly misconceptions or a book written by... someone who hides their actual name.
AndysAttic · 56-60, M
@JamesBugman To be honest James old fellow I would like to think that most would see this post as a little bit of nonsense and not to be taken too seriously.
SpudMuffin · 61-69, M
Surely global warming is caused by greenhouse gasses coming from Uranus (the largest object known to Man)
AndysAttic · 56-60, M
@SpudMuffin Sir. Thank you for you scientific observation. Indeed you are correct but I have ceased my predilection for pickled cabbage and eggs. Hopefully this will ease the matter in some way.
SpudMuffin · 61-69, M
@AndysAttic thank goodness! Though I may avoid Uranus for the foreseeable future, in case of unexpected eruptions.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
This problem will begin to self correct in about 60 days. Hahaha
IM5688 · 61-69, M
The sun is NOT a planet. It is a star.
Ferise1 · 46-50, M
It’s a small star
