Judas was a patsy.

@calicuz God sent Jesus into the world to be sacrificed on the Cross for our sins. That plan must have been set, so God needed a patsy to enable the events to take place. I'm not a believer, but I was brought up a Catholic. In order for Christ to be crucified, Judas HAD to betray him, or the single most profound event in Christian religion could not have happened.
