What is it with these so called 'scientists', apparently we share an ancestor with monkeys....Well, I am a creation scientist and I do not know of any

monkey ancestors in my family. Monkeys do not turn in to humans, caterpillars do not turn into butterflies and trees do not turn into cars.

This is ridiculous, although I did like the 'Last Train to Clarksville'.

May I mention there are a few thousand gorillas on the loose in Dortmund, Germany tonight. They have a primitive form of basic communication. Their "vocabulary" consists of a series of grunts, which sound a bit like "Ing er lund Ing er lund Ing er lund" (allegedly) but confirmation of this level of communication of these creatures has yet to be verified.

@jackieash As it happens, my brother is among those "fans", but I like to think he's a bit more evolved lol (he also speaks German)

But does this address the ancient question coming from the Primate cages in every zoo on earth. "Am I my keepers brother?"😷

@whowasthatmaskedman Zoo Keeper?

We share common DNA, we didn't directly evolve from monkeys. I don't know of any evolutionary scientist that says that.

Humans did not evolve from monkeys. Humans are more closely related to modern apes than to monkeys, but we didn't evolve from apes, either. Humans share a common ancestor with modern African apes, like gorillas and chimpanzees. Scientists believe this common ancestor existed
5 to 8 million years ago. Shortly thereafter, the species diverged into two separate lineages. One of these lineages ultimately evolved into gorillas and chimps, and the other evolved into early human ancestors called hominids.

@SatanBurger WTF is a Creation Scientist?
Peaceandnamaste · 26-30, F
Lol, don't worry people it's satire.
You aren't a scientist and you also are unaware of the facts.
Illyria · M
@SomeMichGuy This is satire, if you look back at his other posts...

@SomeMichGuy Thanks for your observation Sir.

So we split off 5 million years ago. Modern humans (Homo sapiens) and Neanderthals (Homo neanderthalensis) share a common ancestor that lived between 700,000 and 300,000 years ago. Both species lived in western Asia for 30,000–50,000 years and interbred with each other, but eventually became separate species.

More like Martians?!!

No you're a creative ... scientist?
But that was a good tune: Remember these?

- Waitin' for the Evenin' Train.
Oh, and a bunch more; all earworms.
