The 90s

My college days. I had lots of friends, had no anxiety with travel..took trips, felt like the future was open and limitless. 😞

Back when I very young adult and having my own place

80s, when I was in high school. 😌

The Government was less nosy and less strict laws.

For me, the "good old days" meant going with my friends to parties or the disco, practicing new dances. One of our friends, Tommy, was a little older and had been a professional dancer. He showed us the most impressive versions of some of the dances of the day. He was actually on Soul Train briefly.

The 80s. Even though it began with Lennon's death, it was the most jam-packed decade: my first studio recording session, high school and college, first relationships, first bands, first jobs including my TV one, still living at home, both parents and all four grandparents still with us. It was so good!

My 20s. Enjoying being single, adventuring on my own, learning new things.

Now I can explain what were the "good old days". For the version I first heard was in Romanian by my mother. And like neither version at all.

The good old days were different from perspectives.

High school.....girls....low crime....cool stores...malls....plenty of bars and clubs that don't get closed down because of shootings...being able to afford a concert ticket...beaches that weren't pack with people....hardly any illegals because they all went thru the process of becoming a US citizen, not having to be politically correct, and being able to afford a car without a mortgage payment

When I was like 8. It's been a while.

High achool and college.

When women were women and men were men, and they liked each other because of it.

In terms of things like pop culture, music, movies, fashion, stuff like that, it was the mid 1990s.

In terms of my own personal life, I would say about 2003 to 2012.

My high school years were great! College--not so much since my girlfriend was at another university dating other guys. I'll stick with high school as the good old days for me.

I dunno, they've all been marred by something or another.

That being said, 2009 was a really good year.

Listening to Ke$ha, the black eyed peas, Usher, Carli Rae Jepson, PitBull, Neyo, Justin Bieber back when he first stared.

From the time I was 5 yo to 55 yo. Even with more than my share of. F'ed up, situations and believe me it's a long dark list.
