Well, as a creation scientist let me explain the facts to you. As you are probably aware the Sun and the Moon are both the biggest stars in the solar cistern and they revolve around one and other. When they come close to the dome of the Earth (the firmament) they bounce into each other and this is what causes a molar eclipse like the one we saw this week.
