How dare you, Will Smith is a real man!

As long as it's ok with his swinging wife.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Could Will be pan sexual? @PatKirby
nedkelly · 61-69, M
@PatKirby Jada, I am surprised anyone would bang her, she is as ugly as a hat full of arseholes
PatKirby · M
@jackjjackson

Probably since these daze Judas Pinko Smith makes him handle his own pan. That makes him a real pan handler.
PatKirby · M
@nedkelly

Yep. She's so ugly Snapchat filters make her better looking. She needs to be careful with that Ed Zachary disease she's got.

Her face look Ed Zachary like her arse.

Clearly what Will Smith did was wrong. Looks more like battery rather than assault, wondering why people keep calling it assault. There were many ways this could've been handled. Will could've waited for the commercial and met Chris backstage and asked for an explanation, giving Chris an opportunity to approach Jada and apologize meaningfully. They could've even gotten up and left at an appropriate moment. None of that happened.

What did happen was violence. Violence is never an answer to problems. It only exacerbates them.

However, there is another aspect to the incident few seem to acknowledge. That is that Will Smith was initially laughing and found Chris Rock's joke funny (see at about 0:45-0:50min)...

It was not until Jada gave Chris Rock laser beam eyes (then to Will Smith off camera) did Will choose to handle it with violence. It seems that Jada knew exactly what button to push on this man to make him lose it, he was fine until then so it appears the origin of the issue is not with him. They have an open marriage and perhaps that is a factor. At any rate, at galas like these it's expected that you may get roasted. Ricky Gervais lets people have it. No violence there.

Although sarcasm can be a difficult concept for some, it does serve as a form of stress relief giving people an opportunity to laugh at themselves. This is no longer the case in contemporary society which has now chosen, en mass, to choose anger and violence as a way to solve problems they perhaps have no other skills to deal with.

@PatKirby i couldnt have put it better myself

Since Will initially laughed at the pun, do you think he was really the origin of the problem? Or could she have a part to play in this fracas by compelling him to save her honor?
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Had she smacked Rock herself she would have done a superior job. @PatKirby
PatKirby · M
@jackjjackson

That probably would've gone over much better.
SW-User
@PatKirby it was her fault too she knew that would get a reaction from him

@SW-User

Yep, I think so. He probably figured if he did nothing, he'd never hear the end of it. Drama mama. Even though he definitely should not have done what he did, I do feel sorry for him for this very reason because marriages today seem like slow motion funerals for the souls of men.

@PatKirby I could never be with a woman like that
PatKirby · M
@SW-User

I was, for many years. It brought nothing but misery to my home where there had been peace, and introduced a sense of inadequacy drip fed to me throughout the relationshit. All because I was convinced into believing that I needed someone else to complete me. I have no one to blame but my naïve self.
SW-User
@PatKirby that’s why I’m single no drama just peace and quiet for me
