You are right. We should forgive them their murders. It is not our business to judge and punish. We can safely leave this to God.
And as we have been forgiven (those of us who have said sorry to God and received forgiveness), it is not right to withhold our forgiveness from others.

Everything we need to do is in the Bible@WalterF I’m not sure what you are talking about. “Love your enemies” includes forgiveness. That is all I’m saying. I don’t know who is called to do what.

@areYouSureAboutThat I read the Bible through once every year. It is legitimate to say that the Christian who knows God "is called" to live as God wants us to. I am not disagreeing with you in any way. I am simply commenting on your post.
