Its hard to stand out when cosplay is the new norm
WhateverWorks · 36-40
This is actually a really good point. I think a lot of people who were really into the goth fashion migrated over to cosplay @Thevy29
Dshhh · M
@Thevy29 indeed. you are correct

Because they all grew up, weigh about 300 lbs and have 4 kids

@SW-User yup

You didn't hear? They splintered. The Visigoths ended up in Hispania and founded the Visigoth Kindgom.

@Freeranger Best Comment right there.
Goth isn't attractive, is why it was never attractive, nobody wants a GF like Tuesday from the Adam's Family.

that was a fad in it's height around the 1980s era with the punk scene.

They probably are around somewhere, though I have no idea where. I don't get out as much as I use to. Knew some goth girls back in 2010.
GuineaPig1 · 36-40, F
Well Hot Topic is going out of business. Lol. Actually I was a glam goth in my early high school years back in the early 2000's.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
I actually saw two teenage girls dressed as goths last week. I think most goths are online now.
Dshhh · M

Some of us just gave up on life.

The real ones are still around.
I second that. 🙂
caesar7 · 61-69, M
You mean, the Visigoths? LOL
Lilnonames · F
The goth subculture has survived much longer than others of the same era, and has continued to diversify and spread throughout the world. Its imagery and cultural proclivities indicate influences from 19th-century Gothic fiction and horror films
