Frequency of dosing has nothing to do with safety.

Tetanus shot requires several doses to develop protection, still needs a dose every 8-10 years thereafter.

Pets get periodic boosters for rabies.

More research may yield longer lasting protection. Individual antibodies may provide better protection, but you have to survive covid to have that. Not a good strategy for those with higher risk conditions.

Risk vs reward decision. As long as the odds are better with than without .. my choice is to take it for mitigation of my risk factors.
