My wish: Someday I want to see New York.

DanielChristensen · 46-50, M
Manhattan is something else. I remember standing at the foot of the Empire State Building when I was a small boy, looking straight up, feeling the enormity overwhelm me. My first time at Yankee Stadium, my first experience of such a massive agora with the roar of so many people, I nearly forgot how to walk as we made our way to our seats.
@DanielChristensen: wow! that sounds awesome!!!

@AliceinWonderland: The great metropolis has a hum of life. Also the traffic is terrible and good luck finding a parking spot. Amazing food too. I prefer brooklyn style pizza to the Chicago deep dish.

Come for a visit. There truly is something for everyone. NY would love to see you. 🙂

@TrunkZ: If only y'all had alleys. As a Chicago native, I can't get used to not having back alleys to skulk around.

NY State or NYC?
@BlueMetalChic: city

@AliceinWonderland: It has its highs and lows, like any city does. It's busy and bustling, which I like, lots of cool architecture, good nightlife, a lot of fun stuff to do. The traffic is godawful though, and the stereotype of New York pizza is regrettably a myth. The pizza in NYC is abysmal. The rest of the Italian food is much better, fortunately.

I work in NYC. You get used to it.
