You don’t rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your habits.

what do you mean 🤔
Reject · 26-30, M
@Matt85 The idea is that nobody reaches their goals without first having the right disciplines to get you there. It’s a series of little steps over time. Whatever your daily habits are determines your future life.
Makes sense to me, oncevI say here and thought on it a moment

@Bexsy I’m glad you could see it! ☺ People often have big goals in life, but they don’t realize that it’s not about becoming good enough to reach them. It’s about managing the very reachable little things you do with every day of your life. Anyone can accomplish that and it’s the first step to something bigger.

Maybe you do.

@Morvoren I do. That’s why it’s good that I have beneficial habits which help me everyday. None of my goals would have been reached if I didn’t start with my daily routine.

@Reject I guess we are very different people.

@YoMomma So how would you say someone rises to their goals?
Can’t build a sturdy house without a solid foundation.

@OlderSometimesWiser True, and when it comes to life’s foundation, making it solid isn’t about what you can achieve all at once. It’s about what you do over slowly but steadily over long periods of time or your daily habits.

Is this how Zelensky's gonna beat Putin?
Reject · 26-30, M
@FloorGenAdm I would say so, yes!

@JackBoston Yes! I learned about him from a YouTube video and that quote immediately struck me.
