when i speak french ppl think im from Montreal or Quebec but when i speak English either British or southern

I have a California accent. No, I don't say "betch", but I do have some characteristic vowel shifts that occur in California dialects.

No idea everyone who's heard my voice outside the US just says american accent

It’s a hodgepodge of northern New Jersey and southern New Jersey.

Whatever the hell Florida has. It's southern, but not Deep South southern. Also even much of that because other locals think I am from up north. Up north, they say it's southern. 🤷
