What is your favorite chess piece?

Rook all the way.

1. They move in a straight line, none of this diagonals or L-shape mess to deal with. Charge right the eff ahead!

2. They’re not crazy OP or super special unique like the Queen. Plus, you’ve got two, so you can smarsh one and keep on partying.

3. They’re big old rocks, and nothing beats rock.

4. You can annoy better chess players by not understanding how castling works.

5. Rooks can’t do anything at first because someone else is in the way, which I can super relate to most days.

Gotta go with the Queen . She can move in any direction as far as she wants

Pawns are the soul of chess. Pawns define the board. Pawns block and protect better than all the rest, and at the end of the game everyone tries to usher their pawns to promotion

The Queen.Alfa female and the most capable_deadly piece on the board.

The rook because it strikes swiftly and is very effective while covering the field. But every piece has its power and value depending on the situation

Favourite? No, we are all prawns in this great chest board game of life.

Knights are the only piece that can jump over others. Power ranking have them on par with bishops.

King. Absolutely useless and everyone wants to kill him

The Queen. The only female piece and the most powerful of the lot.

The king. Apparently useless, but without it everyone else's lost.

The knight because it moves differently than any other piece.

I was always a fan of the Rook but not sure why.

Queen. I like less restrictions on movement.
