Do you use dishwasher?

Had one in one of the many places I've lived. I prefer not to have one bc I'm alone and couldn't defend using the machine for one or two days worth of dishes and cutlery. But it also has a tendency to start smelling if i wait any longer.

By washing my stuff by hand after every meal I save electricity, and water, and I'm able to keep the kitchen clean.
