My opinion of time traveling it’s used as an excuse to push an unrealistic narrative. The same thing with ghosts. There are great literary authors and playwrights in history, like Shakespeare and Dickens, that use ghosts in their plots. But, such things don’t exist. Hamlet got information from his ghost father. Scrooge had lots of ghosts around him.
Time travel is similar. People have these small and portable devices that make time travel incredibly easy. Though in reality, the power needed is equivalent to a star. For myself, time traveling plots are now boring. No matter the philosophical view.

@BlueSkyKing interesting take. I’m pretty sure technologically speaking, there are things we do today that people 150 years ago would feel the same as you do about time travel. Ever hear of the Philadelphia Experiment? Good time travel movie from the 80’s but I believe it was a true project.

@4thdimensiondream I’m a person that likes living in a evidence based world and a skeptic. With movies, the storyline is what usually makes a satisfying experience. Not the SFX. There is a consensus that the best science fiction is written by those that have a science background. Fantasy is anything goes.
Yes, I know of the film, what is the evidence? One of my favorite science writers created a "baloney detection kit".

@BlueSkyKing obviously there is zero proof of time travel. But until somebody gives me a good explanation how there is existence in general, something from nothing, like where did God come from, I’m pretty open. But regardless of fact or fantasy, I like a good movie done well with things that should never happen. Jurassic Park is not so far off stuff we can do with cloning. Anyway thanks for engaging!
