If it can be done, John Olinger will do it!
JohnOinger · 41-45, M
You Are Exactly Right its Possible people think it's impossible only reason cause no one invented Yet that's why I Plan On Inventing A,Real Time Machine

@JohnOinger Go, JohnnyO!

It’s needs that famous fly that landed on his hair 😁

This is all John Ollinger.....
i think our perception of time is off... like everything we see now is everything past present future contained in this medium within this indefinable blackness. we are a part contained within this law, whatever you want to call it. waves move at an infinite rate through space everything we see is lightyears away so old and we don't know which direction we are going projecting if any at all, it just seems like what we know is only one version of reality. our only tiny grasp at understanding is physics, metaphysics, hard science. it's impossible not to consider the spiritual, for lack of a better word, we have to way to define or measure, why? how?

All valid points. I'm liking the enthusiasm here. Though to clarify, I was meaning more a device that would allow people to travel from the future back to the device and vise versa. So no one would be able to travel back to before the device was functional.
I also thought Einstein was on to something with time being irrelevant. We exist now the same as we did a second ago, the only difference is that the clock moved forward one second. So if you create a device that ignores physics and just moves an object between two seconds of a clock, then you would have time travel.

You answered your own question. What it takes to move backwards in time is theoretically possible. Einstein proved that. Satellites don't maintain consistent time with the time on earth. But it's a tiny change. So no. There won't ever be a time travel machine.
interesting

I think uploading your essence or soul into a earlier version of yourself is more likely than physically going back or forward in time. Just figure energy is easier to manipulate then matter.
DarkCrazyArtistGeekGamer · 31-35, F
I read some near death experiences showed an observation of time travel. Like reflecting upon the past & actually going there to watch it.
Spruce · 36-40, M
Well, they could travel back, because they might have the device in the future. Returning might be an issue. Of course, that would be the least of their concerns.

Ironically when watching the first film version of The time Machine, you'll see compact discs being spun on edge, and for that reason, it's true! It has to be.
GuyWithOpinions · 31-35, M
I think it woukd be more of a mind thing, less of a machine thing.
MrNerd · 31-35, M
@GuyWithOpinions I've thought of that as well. In fact I have a bad memory and get really frustrated when something isn't where I left it but maybe I should be excited. Perhaps it's future me using my present body and moving stuff around.

the inventors of such devices seem to Vanish never to return again

If time travel is possible, where are the time tourists?
In theory its perfectly possible.
REMsleep · 41-45, F
In theory its possible. In reality it will probably never happen. Ive read a lot on it and the obstacles are just too great and unknown. Humans will likely never have the power for that much speed and wormholes are unknown and cannot be traveled thru and survive much less with precision to varied points in time.

@REMsleep I plan on Inventing A,Time Machine that will take me To The Past & Future
REMsleep · 41-45, F
@JohnOinger Let me know when you do please message me here once you are in the past. Oh wait....

@REMsleep lol 🤣
