Do you support microchip implanting in humans?

Such chips could be used to identify you and they give access to authorities of your every private thing...
We have seen how corporations and government have accessed and used the information we gave them freely. We already consent to allowing our cell phones to track us and even our cars.

It isn't paranoia, it is fact that with more and more certainty you can be found, tracked and traced wherever you go. Your money, your phone contacts, your appointments, your personal information is all fed BY YOU (and me) into data bases. WE can't access it easily, but hackers can and thieves can and you can rest assured your government can.

Has anyone noticed that forms in doctor's offices, etc, are getting longer? The world is ravenous for information, but their intent is not to help us.

@Mamapolo2016 Something else that concerns me, along with the good points you mention, is the 'rise' of this 'Discover your heritage via your DNA' business that seems on the rise everywhere.

Now, for most folk, discovering your DNA has a string within it that 'matches' Cherokee Native American or South-American Inca tribes might be of interest. But suppose your DNA reveals that you might be susceptible to......cancer or Heart Disease or Alzheimer's and this information is then passed to your healthcare provider or insurer if you live in America ???

We have a new system that has a health database free information as required my medical or government sectors, which is “easily accessible” but not many people know the opt out option and I’m glad I found out and opted out.@Picklebobble2
@Picklebobble2 If you live anywhere, my friend. People are living longer, health insurance companies aren't raking it in as they are accustomed to, true. But as the baby boomers die, the population will get younger and somebody's going to realize older people get sick more and cost more. Can you say with certainty that a few years down the line national health care too won't start sliding in some small adjustments like 'if you ever smoked' or are obese or have a family history of...?

The mark of the beast ? No thanks . The government of the US has no business in my business ... while there is not right to privacy guaranteed in the constitution , I would imagine an amendment could be written to change that

That's what smart phones already do. Not to mention FB and all the other social media we pour our hearts to.
I have yet to met anyone that supports this lol. I’m pretty sure it’s gonna be a more gradual transition into that instead of randomly micro chipping people....either way, smartphones are basically microchips anyway

Lets not forget the fit it’s and smart watches. They could be listening to every conversation and you wouldn’t even know. @Insomniac100

Hell no. No. No. No.

Nope, especially since it looks like the Bible was warning against something like that.
GlitterBug · 22-25, F
No. Perhaps if it was a super simple chip only capable of carrying your medical information for example I would be more open to it, problem is they’ll want to advance that. It’s like warming you up to invade your entire existence. I can carry a bracelet or paper in my pocket with that same information, don’t need a chip for it and I think that’s okay. Too much technology in my life
Wishingwellguy · 46-50, M
Yes as long as its used with good intentions , and policed well , if you have nothing to hide then I see no problem , obviously most would object on human rights grounds , but it would be helpful regards to medical assistance and history , and on a level stop identification fraud , but at this point in time ; I believe it’s not a good time to implement this , to much computer and ID with personal data
Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
For the majority ? No.
Might be of use to convicted sex offenders or felons out on licence.
I was.. but now I’m more about less government an intrusion
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
No, but I advocate lead implants in some of them... does that count? 😉
SW-User
No.. but if the chips contain knowledge we otherwise learn at school (bringing an end to the education system) and internet connection then I’m in 🙃
@SW-User Suppose, just suppose, that happens. How would you see the information downloaded being controlled? How would you prevent, for instance, a few bytes of 'how you should vote' being inserted along with the Battle of Waterloo and trigonometry?

@Mamapolo2016 microchips can’t brainwash us.. it’s just data that’s fed into it and it’s upto us to discern the information.. like putting an encyclopaedia in our heads.. we don’t automatically start believing everything that’s written in it.. kinda like the internet too
@SW-User I wish I was as sure as you are. Not personally, I doubt I'll be here.
I don't support microchips but there are no private things, not if somebody wants to know.

The only way they are implanting one of them in me is over my dead mutilated body.
User41 · 36-40, M
Yeah.

That’s what I need in life right now.
SweetMae · 70-79, F
The bad might outweigh the benefits.
Peppa · 31-35, F
