It may be that we are exploring more new ways to enjoy sex. I think that with traditional male/female relationship slipping and with more ways to indulge in shared sex and masturbation - and for women the increasing number of toys available - then physical sex between 2 or more people has plenty of competition.
As for whether pornosexuality becomes 'the future', I don't know. Certainly, just now I think there are still many artificial means of enjoying sex which are still considered 'taboo' - just like the old myth about women and mastubation. When this breaks down and non-physical relationship sex becomes more acceptable, then it may become less the norm.

@kittee That may be true of many people. But, it doesn't have to be. As I've gotten older, I find more connection, but with nature and my own true nature. I don't have having lodgers or friends living with me, but I find better living with myself. I often find I enjoy my own company more than that of others.

Ahoy, kutee. New here. I was searching about the idea of pornosexuality and your post came up. Not sure if you’re still an active member here but I’m a happily married straight man who’s also had very enjoyable bi experiences in the past. While I’ve enjoyed physical intimacy on countless occasions throughout my life, I ultimately consider myself pornosexual as my preferred method of arousal is solo masturbation with porn. I have not used AI for this as I believe it would basically just try to replace a human partner and that’s not what I’m looking for. I simply most enjoy solo sexual experiences that do carry the burden of post-coital emotional intimacy. And I guess that’s all I’ve got to say about that.
