What's a saying or phrase that you hate?

I can't stand "Do me a solid". Sounds like something you would say before taking a dump 🤣.

People in my area refer to the job of being a truck driver as "driving truck". What does Joe do for a living? "he drives truck"

@luckranger71 this is like when news casters say a victim was sent to hospital or died in hospital. he was brought to THE hospital. I don’t get it either.
