No more pumpkin spice

Charleston - Shoppers at the Kroger Marketplace got more drama than they bargained for yesterday when Allison Reese, 31, was arrested following a heated tirade over the store’s lack of pumpkin spice Twinkies. Witnesses say Reese stormed into the snack aisle only to find the shelves barren of her beloved fall treat.
“When an employee told her they were out, she started screaming that Halloween was basically ruined,” said one shopper. Reese allegedly hurled a box of Ding Dongs at the stock clerk before knocking over a Little Debbie display. Police arrived minutes later to find her shouting, “It’s not autumn without pumpkin spice!”
Reese was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct. Kroger has since promised to restock soon, though employees quietly admit they hope she does her shopping at Walmart next time.
