Does anyone have the faintest conception of what you mean when you say things?

Some t4imes I wonder -- I say something that seems to easy to understand to me and someone will totally take my words and twist them to mean something totally different -- and then usually won't listen when I try to explain how they misunderstood things. It's like some people hear what they WANT to hear, not what was said.
