Partner joking about me at work to colleagues

Ok basically my boyfriend said a colleague said what his middle name is he said glass half empty
lol
and then his colleague what my middle name? is and he said bone idle . And apparently they laughed I smirked as yes it was funny and I can be at times, but felt little annnoyed. He said it was a joke. Which I do believe . But did it really need to be said lol 😂. Think it because I say nice thing about him most of time. Just wasn’t expecting that kind of comment. lol would it bother you?
