no kidding that's the mathematically best way to put 17 squares into one bigger square. best meaning with the least amount of space wasted

@in10RjFox its the best known solution so far, not a proven best solution. if you got a better one you could publish it.
problem is you have 17 squares... fit them into a bigger square and that square should be as small as possible

@SquirrelGirl need measurements of the bigger square and the tiles.. difficult to solve just by looking.
