I would probably give up hearing as I'm already fairly skilled at ASL and I enjoy quiet.

@ASLAN Same here, (not totally) ruptured my eardrum in the family pool at 16. I had a friend with deaf parents -I learned ASL fairly early on.

@ASLAN There is a great illustrated book on signing you can order secondhand and very affordable. Just google it if interested.
