Is it weird to reach out to a guy via social media if we haven’t met in person?

There’s this guy at the gym who I think is so cute. I just found his Instagram a few days ago but he hasn’t posted in over a year.

I see he is a personal trainer according to a post from 2021, would it be weird to ask him about the training plans from that post— such as 1 on 1 training if we have never spoken to eachother in person?

I’m afraid itll be awkward at the gym if he declines lol

Something along the lines of, “ Hi, I’m (insert my name)! We go to the same gym but don’t believe we’ve met. Are you still offering these plans?

I feel like it would make things much more awkward if you sent him a message on a social media account he didn’t give you because that means you went deep diving his name. I remember when someone did that to me once and it was super creepy, not endearing.

Seriously better to just do an icebreaker at the gym and if he’s not into it then it’s not a big deal because it was only chitchat, not you bearing your soul.
