Is it weird to reach out to a guy via social media if we haven’t met in person?

There’s this guy at the gym who I think is so cute. I just found his Instagram a few days ago but he hasn’t posted in over a year.

I see he is a personal trainer according to a post from 2021, would it be weird to ask him about the training plans from that post— such as 1 on 1 training if we have never spoken to eachother in person?

I’m afraid itll be awkward at the gym if he declines lol

Something along the lines of, “ Hi, I’m (insert my name)! We go to the same gym but don’t believe we’ve met. Are you still offering these plans?

Yes, that’s weird. Does your gym have a website which lists the trainers there? Or you’ll see him clearly training someone at times when you’re working out

@BeefySenpie The gym mostly consists of class/group workouts, with a small area for free weights and self workout. I go to the classes meanwhile he trains by himself in the other area. I would workout in that area too if I weren’t so shy or worried about embarrassing myself.

We are both members— the gym we go to has their own personal trainers, did not actually know he was also a PT until I stalked his insta. It seems to be more of his side hustle
