I'm giving up on potatoes they're evil

One of the techniques of dealing with my acid reflux/plegm issue is making a list of the foods that trigger this chaos and I discovered that it happens every single time I eat fries or just chips even that day I only had one fry! It was still a problem! It could be the oil also but I also eat scrambled eggs which is also made with oil and nothing happens.

So that's it I'm not eating potatoes again in any shape or form.

Foods commonly known to be acid reflux triggers cause the esophageal sphincter to relax and delay the digestive process, letting food sit in the stomach longer, says Gupta. The worst culprits? Foods that are high in fat, salt or spice such as:

Fried food
Fast food
Pizza
Potato chips and other processed snacks
Chili powder and pepper (white, black, cayenne)
Fatty meats such as bacon and sausage
Cheese
Other foods that can cause the same problem include:

Tomato-based sauces
Citrus fruits
Chocolate
Peppermint
Carbonated beverages

Adding to the list:
All types of soda and sweetened drinks
Coffee
Honey
Too sugary foods like baklava
Nuts for some people
Tea
__the list will differ of course , not all will be an issue for everyone.

The reason pizza is problem besides its tomatoes sauce, is because it is mixed carbs. The wheat dough generally, with sauce and cheese and other toppings like pepperoni and meat make it more difficult to digest for the stomach and empty.

The stomach does best when you don't mix up foods . Same applies to hamburgers . They will sooner or later contribute to an existing issue of acid reflux

_ Drinking enough water is very important in between meals not with them

_ it is best to eat your last meal two hours before laying down.

@Miram Thanks for adding that and not to lay down after eating. That’s really important too.
