First of all, you have to understand that Donald Trump is MAGA.
Secondly, the Republican Party no longer exists in principle in America.
This is because it was hijacked by Trump which he piggybacked on while creating the MAGA movement, then Trump abandoned the Republican Party entirely. Republicans are not MAGA's and MAGA's are not Republicans, though the Republican Party was used as the best populace party at the time when Trump entered the race in 2016.
What exists today in America are the Democrats and MAGA. Donald Trump is MAGA. Donald Trump is not working on behalf of MAGA, Donald Trump is MAGA. Period.
When Donald Trump's second term is finished in January of 2028, MAGA will also terminate in principle.
What this means is, none of Trump's sons or daughters will be succeeding Donald as POTUS because they will have no platform to be recognized with. This is because MAGA will end when Donald's Presidency ends in 2028.
Who then are Don Jr, Eric or autistic Barron? Who are these dudes?
Actually on their own, they are no-bodys... They cannot carry the MAGA mantra because they are NOT their old man! Only Donald can carry the MAGA mantra because only Donald is MAGA!
When Donald goes, MAGA goes with him out the door. When that happens, there will be a resurgence of the old traditional Republican Party of America following that final exit move of the Trump era out the door.

@swirlie First, let me say how brave of you it was to use "Republican Party" and "Principle" in the same sentence..And broadly speaking I agree with you. However, Trump is merely the figurehead, a gateway to what comes next. Thats what Stephen Miller and the Heritage Foundation people are working on, (And doing a brilliant job) The economy, the election boundaries, the disorganised opposition. Even the tame media and docile military are all in place for when Trump takes that one step too far (Maybe it will be Epstein) Then Trump will be removed and Vance (Millers stooge) will step up for eight years or more. And trust me.. Then Americans will be sorry. 😷

The Americans will be sorry for many things caused by Trump, but Miller and Vance will be long gone when Trump walks off the stage for the last time.

@swirlie Maybe I wasnt clear. Vance isnt going to take over where Trump leaves off. Trump is the Stooge who will be seen to lead America down the path of evil and be removed to "save America". Then Vance (backed by Miller) will lead America off into what it touted as a new super conservative golden age. And the people will be so sick of Trump and disheartened with the alternative, they will welcome it, at first. Until its too late..😷

The entire MAGA base has been distancing itself from Trump and anything that Trump puts his interest on for several months now and if you think that Vance and Miller are shoe-in's because of their own good intentions for the 8 years following the exit of Trump, then you are blindly following a state of American delusion that exists in a palpable state in the White House today, but will only exist while Trump is still around while thinking that they too have the power!
