The story is really despised as rambling hoax and self promotion but... his "prediction of our future history from now to 2749 is thought provoking. I owe it to him that I expect to see a seriously reduced world population governed by an AI with benign objectives hard wired in (AI therefore knowing what every hacker is trying to do real time and being able to prevent itself ever being overwritten by both blocking, predicting and preventing future threats - especaily to its programmed objectives - I thought that was very clever for a last century hoaxer). It also includes the idea that work would become an option (obviously still rewarded). I get it. Its the only way I can think of that we could neutralise our impact on the environment amd live at peace with each other... but when you see the provenance of his ideas you'll see why no one is taking it seriously. Maybe thats all part of the meant to be. Just saying - half the whacky stuff he predicted is now being supported by observations and theories developing right now in physics...Thats the even wierder bit,
